Objective

The School addresses fundamental aspects of quantum physics and quantum computation by a diverse series of lectures. It is especially intended to train young researchers, as well as to instigate the exchange of knowledge and collaboration between experienced scientists in their respective research areas. The interdisciplinary character of the School will be supported by the choice of key speakers who, because of the depth of their knowledge, are not only able to report specific results within their fields, but are also able to discuss the state of the art from the broader perspective of overlaping fields. The scientific level of the lectures will be at the master's degree level. No specific knowledge of the fields is required.
